Truth Is You Have Nothing To Lose....Unless You Don't Accept Jesus!
Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:39
What do you really have to lose if you accept Jesus? Nothing. What do you have to lose if you don't accept him and in the end you find out he is Real.... Everything!!!I cant imagine life with out hope in the Lord. I know he is real because I feel HIM everyday. I talk to Him every day. (No he does not have an audible voice) but I hear him in everything I do. I have witnessed his miracles firsthand. My 6 year old brother was supposed to die of cancer, he is here with us today at 20 years old. I was never supposed to have a child, and here we are with a wonderful 5 year old. My mom and dad were addicted to a powerful drug. I prayed persistently for them, now they are the ones encouraging me. I have been on the verge of divorce and destruction because of my pride and selfishness, Because of my unwillingness to let an argument go, and not get the last word in. God changed my heart! God fights my battles. I don't even have to tell my husband when I am upset with him. I take my worries to the Lord, and every time he works in my husbands heart and my own when I come to him first! I have seen the angels among us (in human form). God is like the wind. You cant see it, but you can feel it! I know there alot of reasons to be skeptical with all of the false "Christians" out there. Just give it a try. I beg you. Prayer is easy. Its not about alot of fancy words, its a direct line of communication to God. 1st you need to take a leap of faith and believe that Jesus was Gods only son, and that he died and was resurrected to be your sacrifice for sin. Once you do this your sin is gone. White as snow. Washed away! Jesus is like your lawyer, he goes before the judge (God) and he says I got him. This is my homeboy, What ever he did I will pay for it for he is now made righteous. Jesus takes our place. He took on all of our sin and pain at the cross. If it is all a big load of crap you will see for your self. But if you genuinely open up your heart, trust this, and turn to him, his Holy spirit will come upon you and you will know with out at doubt that He is Real!!! Look around you at the wonderful works of the Lord, the miracles everyday, look past all the devastation and destruction of this old world, which is Gods judgment, and believe. Because he promises that this hell on Earth is nothing compared to what is to come. And when you die, hell is no joke. Eternal suffering. No one made this up. The disciples could have been killed for spreading Gods word. The truth about Jesus. But they did anyway, and most did in fact loose their lives. This is truth!Truth is you have every thing to loose if you don't put your faith in the Lord. And you have nothing to lose (but all of your sin) if you do!

God Is Always On Time: Never Late, Lost, Or Damaged
"God will provide" If it is late, then its really right on time. If it is lost, I have insurance on it and I'll get another one.." I was about to say something else and the woman on the other end of the phone said, "And if for no other reason, it was so that you could witness to me today."-customer service
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.
Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.” Isaiah 30:21
There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 16:25
Truth is: God has a lot of deliveries he makes every day. God works in every person on the planet's life even if they do not follow Him. God is busy putting people, places, and things in our paths to mold and make us. He never shows up late. He never delivers broken promises, nor is He ever late. According to our standards he may not have upgraded you to FedEx Express, but He is on the way! Sit back and look at the bigger picture. If God had delivered something into your life a moment sooner, or a moment later, everything that happened that day would be different. God gives you the things you need right when He knows you need them, not when you think you do.
Recently, I ordered a 7" kids tablet from eBay for my daughter, who is coping with (HFA) high functioning autism, or some know it as Asperger syndrome. If you have or know a child with this condition, you know all to well how things have to be on a schedule. The same things, at the same times, or all order in their lives goes amok. I really shouldn't have told her that she was going to get the tablet until it showed up at our door steps, because I would never hear the end of it until it did. Younger children, who share qualities like my daughter, have a hard time understanding things and taking them to literal. If I tell her to get her shoes on so we can go to the grocery store, she expects to leave the house right then. I know that I have to get myself ready for going out first, and not to tell her my plans until we are walking out the door. Well to my excitement, I told her about the tablet.
Every day I checked the tracking website, and I explained to her that it was still on its way to our house. I drew a picture of an airplane with her to help her understand that it is not going to be today, or tomorrow, but maybe the next day when the package would arrive. The first of the year came, and the package was still MIA. I was patient and thought surely the holiday was holding it up. Six days later my two day priority mail was not only not at my door, but it was showing to be at the origin facility it was sent to for sorting. How could this be? If it left the facility in Ohio six days before, how could it still be on its way to Shreveport for sorting to reach it's final destination in Texas? I thought, really six days and it hasn't been scanned again. (Every time a package leaves or arrives at a facility it is scanned and tracked). By this time my, daughter had forgot about the tablet, and I tried to keep her mind off of it, and I kept her interested in other things. I called costumer service and filed a claim. They told me it could be a number of things including: Lost, Damaged, Or just Late due to weather, but that they weren't experiencing any weather delays from the place my package should have shipped from.
At first I was frustrated. But, then God told me to be silent. I wanted to blow up over the phone and express my anger. Instead, I said, "God will provide" If it is late, then its really right on time. If it is lost, I have insurance on it and I'll get another one.." I was about to say something else and the woman on the other end of the phone said, "And if for no other reason, it was so that you could witness to me today." I stopped in my tracks and felt goose bumps. The woman told me what a terrible day she was having, many people calling in with rage that their packages haven't reached their destination because of weather, or this or that. She went on to say, "But, you understandingly, patiently, collectively, reminded me that God is in control, and he is always on time." This woman had been having her own problems, and work wasn't making it any easier.
Who really knows why my package is late, or more than likely lost. But, God does. He uses everyday things to work for His will. If my package had arrived on time I would not have taught my daughter about patiently waiting, how some of our mail comes on planes, cars or ships. I would not have stopped to think and be appreciative of the people who work around the clock in all weather conditions to get us our mail. My lost or just simply late mail, may have caused more than just warming the heart and giving hope to a customer service agent. It may be apart of God's grand design for many people's lives.
This applies to everything in our lives. I have seen it many times in life. I can't count the number of times I have almost been in a terrible car accident. Then thinking later, if I hadn't went back in the house to check that the hair straighter was turned off, I would have been a little further down the road, and I could have been the car upside down on the side of the road. If I hadn't got caught at that red light, I might have been the car that crashed with the 18 wheeler. If I didn't get up earlier I might have been killed in an accident. It's all how you look at things. I could have thought to myself, that the hair straighter caused me to be late for work, that red light made me stuck in traffic, that alarm clock caused me to rush this morning. Be optimistic, when bad things happen to us, we might have been saved from something worse.

If you run out of gas, or you do get in a wreck, or you are late, it is the exact place God planned for you to run out of Gas at. God may have been saving you from something more terrible ahead of you. I remember running out of gas with no phone a few years ago. I turned onto a highway. I was coming off an old dirt road, that was not very well traveled. If I had run out of gas a few miles back, no one may have known for hours. God had me in the right place at the right time. Someone did stop and they had a phone. It's the little things that we don't think about. We think God is late, or he hasn't heard our cries. But, He has, and He is coming, and He will get to you on time!
My package will eventually get to me, but until it does, I know God is in control and he has a plan.
Truth is: Whatever the case, God is always on time, even when our mail isn't. :)

Spiritual Martial Arts- Kicking Anxiety
Truth is: Anxiety, Stress, Worries and Fear are meant to rob us of our joy! The Bible has equipped us with armor, and His word is a sword against Satan. We can win the spiritual war if we train ourselves in spiritual martial arts.
Coming from a traumatic situation or home life can no doubt be troubling. Anxiety, fear, depression, worry, just a few ailments to name, can overcome even the faithfullest of Christians if they are not dressed in the full armor of God. If you are not ready for an attack, then you can easily be overcome.
Growing up I witnessed many things that we all want to shield our children from. My parents introduced me to church at a very young age. I can remember being in the Nativity play, vacation bible school, reciting bible verses I had put so much work into remembering. We started out on the right path. My father had many issues from his childhood. He turned to alcohol and drugs to ease his pain, until my six year old brother was diagnosed with cancer. My Father changed his life around. We started going to church again, and things seemed to get better, until they weren't again. Life moved on, and old habits came rushing back. The fear that a child feels when their father is engaged in a drunken rage, and their mother is so fearful that she is frozen in place while taking all the abuse, is almost insurmountable. My father turned to a powerful drug: Methamphetamine. I was a teenager by this time and had a few years of salvation under my belt. I had to grow up very quickly, and I learned what it meant to put on the full armor of God to battle my spiritual wars.
Anxiety is no joke. I never really knew that I had a problem with anxiety until I became a mother. The trauma that I endured growing up didn't seem to affect me much until I was fully responsible for another person. Babies cry a lot. They need you for everything, and in my case, they don't like to allow you to get much sleep. The way I dealt with anxiety, though I didn't know that is what I was suffering from before, was to get somewhere by myself, and listen to music, or pray, or sit in silence. I realized quickly that you can't do to much of that when you have a newborn. All of your free time now belongs to a tiny baby. I had my first full on panic attack shortly after my daughter was born. Racing heart beat, intense worry and fear, and a hotness flushed over my body. I chalked it up to being a change in hormones after the baby was born. But later I realized that I was suffering from anxiety. I soon began changing. I was snappy, had more of these attacks, and my husband thought I was just over exaggerating.
Soon after my brother came to live with me, he was having the same "fits," as I like to refer to them. All these attacks had some sort of trigger. In my case, loud noises (crying baby), stressful situations, yelling or arguing, disagreeing of any sort, or being around certain types of people, or social situations, were what really set me off. As kids, growing up in a home where there was constant turmoil, yelling, fights, feeling of uncertainty, left a mark on my brother and me. I guess you could equate it to some sort of post traumatic stress. I realized that all of these things that were happening to me stemmed from the fear and uncertainty I had growing up.I like to be in control of everything, know how things are going to work out, and have certainty. Unfortunately, none of these things come as easy as we like in life, and sometimes God doesn't let us see the whole picture, he only hands us a small piece. I struggled with this for a long time.
I eventually realized that overcoming this anxiety was not going to be near as hard if I just let go. I had to remember that God has my best interests at heart. He will provide always. If I don't see a solution, or an end in sight to my pain, God does. I slowly started to trust God with my life, only making it harder on myself. When you put your life and trust into his hands fully, then the anxiety, fears and stress fall off of your shoulders. You may not know how in the world a problem in your life will be solved, but God does. So sit back, and put your trust in him!
Overcoming this anxiety was not a simple do this or do that. It wasn't any medication, or miracle drug for me. I had to first forgive my parents, mostly my Father, and learn to trust them again. It took years, but after finding the Lord they both became sober. That distrust in them did not magically disappear by no means, but I began a relationship with them based on forgiveness. The most important part of overcoming was prayer. Lifting my worries, and fears, triggers of the anxiety to the Lord. I prayed for peace, and peace I was granted. I prayed for stillness when my body began to shake, and I was stilled. I prayed for my thoughts to be eased, and they were. I was able to fall asleep at night with out lying awake in fear. I was able to let go of all the things that plagued me. The attacks still come, but I am prepared. I know how to control them. I recite scripture. I remember what the Word tells me about anxiety, how God provides, and that I can overcome these things with the help of the Lord. I just have to let go, and let Him take them on for me.
The Bible says that we should not worry about anything, God will provide, and that fear is not from the Lord, but instead from the devil. Fear is meant to rob us of our joy that the Lord provides. The Bible tells us over and over again, "Do not be afraid." Be courageous, casting all our fears and anxieties to Him. Kicking Satan out of our minds to win the spiritual battles will be a piece of cake when you put on the full armor of God!
The Armor of God
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Ephesians 6:10-18
Our conflict with Satan is a spiritual one, not physical. No Tangible weapon is going to defeat him when he makes his move against us. You have to put on the full Armor of God to strike him down.
The Helmet of Salvation: By believing that Christ died for our sins and rose again. We have to turn from our sin and live for Christ.
The belt of truth: To identify Satan's lies. It keeps us from giving into the worlds beliefs.
The Breastplate of Righteousness: Being fair, honest, and humble. Remembering that it is Jesus who has taken our place so that we may be called righteous.
Shield of Faith: Being sure that God will keep his promises, and Faith in God protects you when you are tempted in doubt.
The sword of the spirit: The word of God is our defense weapon.
Feet being prepared with the Gospel of Peace: Being right with God, and content in times of trouble. Jesus said that peacemakers are blessed.
Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. But you, O God, will cast them down into the pit of destruction; men of blood and treachery shall not live out half their days. But I will trust in you. Psalms 55:22-23.
But now thus says the Lord , he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. Isiah 43:1
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isiah 43:1
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. Psalms 56:3
For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control 2 Timothy 1 :7
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Matthew 6:25-34
Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. 1 John 4:18
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”Joshua 1:9
Anxiety in a man's heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad. Proverbs 12:25
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died—more than that, who was raised—who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? Romans 8:31-39.
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? Psalms 118:6
